‘Khloe and Lamar’ Put “On Hold”

When the news came out about Khloe Kardashian Odom and Lamar Odom putting their reality show on hold, it was not a surprise. I have watched the Kardashians on and off for a little over two years and I have yet to figure them out. Doing a show like “Khloe and Lamar” or “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is bound to keep you stressed. Your personal life is out for the public to judge, and alone time is non-existent. The relationship or marriage you are in definitely will take a huge hit, and it may not even survive.

This causes me to wonder whether or not the marriage between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries was really a sham, or just a casualty of living a very public life. It has to be incredibly hard to have a camera crew following your every move, both intimate and non. You would have to sneak away to have any kind of feasible sex life and anything else that you want will have to be put on hold. She had their entire relationship chronicled, up to and including the wedding.

The bond between two people shouldn’t be put on display for the world to analyze. I can tell you with complete certainty that my relationship would not last the test of time if it were made public, especially on television where millions of people watch. The criticism is enough to spark doubt or cause unnecessary drama between two people. It was sad watching the downfall of Kim and Kris, especially since it was so heavily focused on in the media.

I can’t help but like Khloe. She has always been my favorite. It is definitely because she is different and has her own opinions about everything. For me, she was the standout one in the family. The Kardashians catch a lot of flack from people because they live in the public eye. It is their choice, but I definitely wouldn’t be doing something as crazy as that. Hopefully Lamar’s career gets back on track and we will get to see more of this couple on the original Kardashian reality show.
